Abstract:
Provided are an elevator control system and an elevator control method that suppress a negative impact on riding comfort due to the vibration of a car during landing control. Provided is a control system, wherein a location measurement unit (10) detects the current location of a car (6). An origin point sensing unit (11) senses the passage of the car (6) at an origin point location that is a preset distance away from a landing location of the car (6). Each of multiple pattern generation units generates a travel pattern on the basis of mutually different algorithms. In each of the travel patterns, there is continuous acceleration from before the car (6) passes through the origin point location until when the car (6) stops. A pattern selection unit (30) selects a travel pattern that has the shortest landing duration as a travel pattern which the car (6) is caused, by a travel control unit (19), to follow and travel along on the basis of the current location. The pattern selection unit (30) makes such selection on the basis of the speed of the car (6) at a timing of passage through the origin point location.
