Abstract:
An elevator counterweight device, wherein a deformation prevention device has an enclosing body that encloses a counterweight frame at an intermediate position in the vertical direction. The enclosing body has a pair of mounting members and a pair of connecting members. Each mounting member has a base and a pair of projections that form obtuse angles with the base. Each connecting member has a spanning portion that is disposed between the pair of mounting members and a pair of connecting portions that are provided on both ends of the spanning portion and that are inclined with respect to the spanning portion. Each connecting portion is fastened to the corresponding projection with a fastener.
