Provided is an elevator device that can make adjusting the mutual positions of a landing position setting unit and a landing position detecting unit unnecessary and that can shorten the time for replacement by simplifying the work to replace a landing position detecting unit. A landing position setting unit 24 is provided on a first protection plate 23 mounted on a boarding-side threshold 21, and a landing position detecting unit 26 is provided on a second protection plate 25 mounted on a car-side threshold 22. Because the landing position setting unit 24 is provided on the first protection plate 23 mounted on the boarding-side threshold 21 that serves as a positioning reference and the landing position detecting unit 26 is provided on the second protection plate 25 mounted on the car-side threshold 22 that serves as a positioning reference, adjustment of the mutual positions of the landing position setting unit 24 and the landing position detecting unit 26 can be made unnecessary. In addition, by moving a passenger car 11 up by a prescribed distance, the second protection plate 25 can be exposed to the boarding platform 27 and the landing position detecting unit 26 can easily be replaced from the boarding platform even if the landing position detecting unit 26 is damaged.
