Abstract:

An elevator device, wherein a car (4) and a balance weight (5) are moved up and down inside a hoistway (1) by a driving device (31) having a driving device main body (32) and a drive sheave (33), the suspended position of a main rope (12) is aligned with the suspending center of either of the car (4) and the balance weight (5) by a deflector sheave (11), and a winding angle increasing sheave (34) increasing the winding angle of the main rope (12) on the drive sheave (33) is disposed between the drive sheave (33) and the deflector sheave (11).
