Abstract:
An elevator device capable of minimizing a damage thereto even if both sills are collided with each other at the recessed and protruded parts, wherein the recessed part (16) apart from the vertical projection of an engagement device (13) for engaging a platform side door (10) with a car side door (5) is formed in one of the platform sill (12) and the car sill (7) for movably guiding the platform side door (10) and the car side door (5) in lateral direction, the protruded part (17) facing the inside of the recessed part and having a vertical projection apart from the vertical projection of the recessed part is formed on the other of the car sill (7) and the passenger sill (12), and protective members (18, 19) are installed on the surfaces of the recessed part and the protruded part opposed to each other in the moving direction of the doors.
