Abstract:
An elevator device where an elevator car (1) and a counterbalance weight (2) suspended
by a rope (5) in a hoistway are driven by a hoist (11). The elevator device has a suspension
sheave (8) provided at the upper part of the car (1), a rope anchorage (3) provided
at the car (1), a suspension sheave (13) provided at the upper part of the counterbalance
weight (2), and a rope anchorage (15) provided at the upper part of the counterbalance
weight (2). The rope (5) is passed over a drive sheave (10) of the hoist (11) at a
pass over angle of 360° or greater.
