Abstract:
An elevator device provided with a lateral rope-vibration sensor (8) for detecting lateral vibration of a rope (5), a calculation control device (11) for calculating, based on an output of the lateral rope-vibration sensor (8), a drive command for applying a variation in tension to the rope (5), and a drive device (10) for applying the variation in tension to the rope (5) based on the drive command from the calculation control device (11).
