Abstract:
An elevator device wherein when a brake operation determination unit (51) confirms that conditions indicating that a door is opened are satisfied and at the time confirms that at least car position conditions and/or car velocity conditions are satisfied, the brake operation determination unit (51) sends to a brake operation instruction unit (52) an operation instruction for causing a brake device (20) to exert braking force for a sudden stop.
