Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an elevator device having less restrictions on equipment arrangement and designability, having a structure hardly causing anxiety to customers, and allowing efficient ventilation. The elevator device is equipped with a car (1) and an atmospheric pressure control device (2) that controls the atmospheric pressure in the interior of the car (1). The atmospheric pressure control device (2) is equipped with: blowers (13) that cause air to flow in and out of the interior of the car (1); ducts (10) that are disposed so as to provide communication between the blowers (13) and the interior of the car (1); and flow dividing chambers (8) that are disposed at the top of the car (1) and connected to the ducts (10). The flow dividing chambers (8) each have a side surface which is provided with an opening, and a ventilation door (9) that normally closes the opening and is opened at the time of power failure.
