Abstract:
An elevator device comprises: a photoelectric sensor that is installed in a car, the photoelectric sensor emitting light and detecting the presence or absence of a designated object on the basis of the amount of the emitted light that has been reflected; a reflecting member that is provided on the upper portion of a landing jamb, the reflecting member reflecting and delivering, to a landing floor, light emitted from the photoelectric sensor and reflecting and delivering, to the photoelectric sensor, reflected light from the landing floor; and an annunciator that reports arrival of a car to a landing when an object is detected on the landing floor by the photoelectric sensor during a period from a predetermined time before the car arrives at the landing and a landing door starts to open until the landing door starts to open.
