Abstract:
Disclosed is an elevator device capable of increasing reliability of an emergency stop device operated by an operating mechanism comprising a magnet part. The elevator device comprises a car (3), an emergency stop device (20) provided to the car, and an operating mechanism (30) which is provided to the car and which operates the emergency stop device, wherein the car moves up and down while being guided by a guide rail (5A). The operating mechanism comprises an operating rod connected to a brake provided to the emergency stop device and a magnet part (32) provided to the operating rod, wherein the magnet part is attracted onto the guide rail when the emergency stop device is operated. The guide rail comprises a cleaning member (100) that cleans a magnetic pole face of the magnet part that is attracted onto the guide rail.
