Abstract:
Disclosed is an elevator door control device that performs detection to determine whether a door panel is in the fully open or the fully closed position by means of a position switch disposed at only one spot along the travel direction of the door panel. To that end, the door control device controls the opening and closing action of the door panel, which opens and closes an elevator entrance/exit in the left and right directions, and is provided with one position switch, a first and second light emitter and a first and second light sensor disposed in the position switch, a first and second shield plate disposed in the door panel, and a door control device body which determines whether or not the door panel is in the fully open or the fully closed position on the basis of a signal which is outputted from the position switch and which carries information about the light sensing state of the first and second light sensors. The first shield plate blocks one or more prescribed lights from among the first and second lights when the door is fully open, and when the door is fully closed, the second shield plate blocks one or more prescribed lights from among the first and second lights, but different lights from the prescribed lights blocked by the first shield plate.
