Abstract:
Provided is an elevator door control device which is capable of detecting passengers, string-shaped objects, and the like, in an entrance/exit of an elevator. The elevator door control device comprises: first light-emitting means (3) which emit light such that the light traverses the entrance/exit to be opened or closed by an elevator car door panel (21); first light-receiving means (5) which receive the light from the first light-emitting means (3); second light-emitting means (4) which emit light such that the light traverses the entrance/exit; second light-receiving means (6) which receive the light from the second light-emitting means (4); and a door control device (38) which detects the presence or absence of an object in the entrance/exit on the basis of an output from at least one of the first light-receiving means (5), and the second light-receiving means (6). The detection sensitivity based on the output of the second light-receiving means (6) is greater than the detection sensitivity based on the output of the first light-receiving means (5).
