Abstract:
Provided is an elevator door controller which can readily detect a failure in a jamming detection sensor that is made up of a mechanical sensor for detecting an object caught between the doors by means of a mechanical mechanism via a shoe or the like. To this end, the elevator door controller has the doors (2a, 2b) for opening and closing the entrance (1) of the elevator, and the mechanical sensor (12) which allows the mechanical mechanism to detect an object caught between the doors (2a, 2b) and then output a detection signal. The elevator door controller is adapted to include a member (13) for mechanically creating a pseudo state of an object being caught between the doors (2a, 2b) in a pseudo manner with the entrance (1) closed by the doors (2a, 2b); and a door controller (11) for detecting a failure in the mechanical sensor in the pseudo state on the basis of the detection signal delivered from the mechanical sensor (12).
