Abstract:
Provided is an elevator door device which is capable of easily determining that a detection bar is not faulty. An elevator door device comprises a door which is provided at the doorway of the elevator, a detection bar which is provided at the front end of the door, and a fault detection device which, when the door opens, moves the detection bar relative to the door in the opening direction of the door. Because of this configuration, the detection bar becomes a state equivalent to a state in which the detection bar has detected an obstacle. Consequently, the elevator door device is capable of easily determining that the detection bar is not faulty.
