Abstract:
This elevator drive sheave on which a suspension body is wound comprises a sheave body and a porous layer formed on the outer circumferential face of the sheave body. The porous layer has a contact face in contact with the suspension body. A plurality of holes connected to each other are formed inside the porous layer. At least some of the plurality of holes are opened to the contact face.
