Abstract:
An elevator driving system, comprising: a mounting base (10) that is fixed to the top of an elevator car (8), a toothed traction machine (4) that is fixed to the mounting base (10), a pair of rewinding traction wheels (5) that are fixed to output shafts on two sides of an inner end of the toothed traction machine (4) close to a wall, a pair of rewinding guide wheels (9) that are fixed to output shafts on two sides of an outer end of the toothed traction machine (4) away from the wall, and a first number of wire ropes (3) which are arranged in parallel and the two ends of which are fixed to the top of a hoistway and the bottom of the hoistway, respectively; and each wire rope (3) is sequentially rewound within rope grooves of the rewinding guide wheels (9) and the rewinding traction wheels (5), respectively. The described elevator driving system generates sufficient friction on the rewinding traction wheels (5) by means of a sufficient number of wire ropes, and the car is lifted to move up and down along a guide rail. Compared with the traditional elevator driving means, the up and down motion is not restricted by height.
