Abstract:
Elevator equipment, wherein a car deflector wheel for leading a main rope from a drive sheave to a car and a balance weight deflector wheel for leading the main rope from the drive sheave to a balance weight are disposed at the inside upper part of a hoistway, the drive sheave, the car deflector wheel, and the balance weight deflector wheel are disposed so that the rotating shafts thereof extend parallel with each other, and a drive device is positioned lower than the car deflector wheel while avoiding an upper beam in a vertical plane of projection.
