Abstract:
An elevator group management and control apparatus for managing and controlling a plurality of elevator control devices as a single group, the apparatus comprising: a landing call allocation means for allocating a specific elevator car to a landing call registered in a landing call registration means; an operation prediction means for predicting, when a specific elevator car has stopped at a called landing, whether the operation to the next landing registered by the landing call registration means is a regenerative operation in which electric power is regenerated or a powering operation in which electric power is consumed, and for predicting the time required for the regenerative operation or the powering operation; and a door-open time control means for comparing the time required for the regenerative operation or the powering operation of the specific elevator car predicted by the operation prediction means and the already-predicted remaining travel time of another elevator car performing the powering operation or the regenerative operation, computing the overlap time in which the specific elevator car and the other elevator car are simultaneously performing the regenerative operation and the powering operation, changing the door-open time that was set in the specific elevator car used in the computation, calculating a door-open time that results in a longer overlap time, and closing a door.
