Abstract:
Provided is an elevator group management control device allowing for optimal car assignment and improved operation efficiency when assigning a car in response to a landing call, even when there is a car which is to arrive at the boarding floor for a passenger from the direction opposite to the direction of the destination floor of said passenger. When, in response to a landing call corresponding to a destination floor input by the passenger, there is a car which is to arrive at the boarding floor for the passenger from the direction opposite to the direction of the destination floor of said passenger, the registered direction of the landing call is corrected to be the direction opposite to the direction of movement from the landing floor to the destination floor of the passenger, and an optimal elevator car is assigned in response to the landing call. When the car has arrived at the floor for which the landing call was registered, the destination floor of the passenger is registered in the car as a car call, the car travels in the direction opposite to the direction of the destination floor of the passenger, and even if there are no further calls in this direction of travel and the direction is reversed, the car call registered by the car call registration unit is retained.
