Provided is an elevator group management device that can optimize elevator car allocation control. An elevator group management device comprises: a personal information storing unit 51 to store a table of behavior history that includes history information showing and associating an ID with elevator use history of a user carrying a tag 2 having the ID; a shared memory 6 to store a table of requests to go up and to go down by floor that shows the current number of people and the total weight of passengers requesting to go up and passengers requesting to go down for each floor and to store a table of operation management by car that shows the current up or down direction and the weight allowance for each car; an information processing unit 52 to update the table of behavior history on the basis of the date and time when the ID of the tag 2 is read by a reader 1 installed on a landing and of the floor where the reader 1 is installed and to update the table of requests to go up and to go down by floor on the basis of weight information of the user stored in the personal information storing unit 51 previously associated with the ID and the table of behavior history; and a car allocation controlling unit 7 to control the allocation of each elevator car on the basis of the table of requests to go up and to go down by floor and the table of operation management by car.
