Abstract:
This elevator monitoring device is communicably connected to: a monitoring camera which is installed in an elevator car, and which transmits a video stream; and an elevator control device which controls operation of the elevator, and which transmits elevator information indicating the state of the elevator. The elevator monitoring device selects, as video recording information, in accordance with the elevator information received from the elevator control device, a video stream or a scaled-down video stream stored in a volatile storage unit, and records the selected video recording information in a non-volatile storage unit.
