Abstract:
Provided is an elevator operation check system that enables easy checking of the operation of an elevator while ensuring security. The present invention comprises: an elevator installed in a building structure; a portable terminal that is carried by an operator and used to transmit an operation instruction to a control panel of the elevator so as drive the elevator; and an information center that performs communication with the portable terminal. The portable terminal has: a permission request unit that sends a request, to the information center, for permission to transmit an operation instruction; and an instruction transmission unit that transmits an operation instruction to the control panel when the requested transmission permission is granted, while the information center has: a storage unit that stores information related to the maintenance of the elevator; and a determination unit that, upon receipt of a request for transmission permission, refers to the storage unit to determine whether or not the requested transmission permission is to be granted.
