Abstract:
In an elevator device, a car dangles within an elevator shaft by means of the disclosed elevator rope. The elevator rope has a rope body, and a resin outer covering layer that covers the outer periphery of the rope body. On the surface of the outer covering layer, inspection result information is added at a predetermined pitch at positions that correspond to the positions of an inspection conducted along the lengthwise direction of the rope at the time of production.
