Title:
ELEVATOR SAFETY DEVICE FOR PREVENTING PINCHING INJURIES OF HAND BY USING SAFETY SHOE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/172560
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a safety device for preventing pinching injuries of the hand, wherein a safety shoe, which prevents a person's hand from getting caught in the gap between an elevator door and a door frame, can be prevented from protruding out of the door frame for the door, and the gap between the door and the door frame can be adjusted. Under normal conditions, the safety shoe (30) is prevented from protruding out of the door frame (10) by a stopper (50). When the safety shoe (30) is inserted into a support frame (20) by an external force such that a switch (SW) establishes connection, an operation of the door is interrupted or the opening/closing speed thereof is reduced by an elevator controller (EC) and a door controller (DC). When the support frame (20) is coupled to the door frame (10) through a plurality of elongated holes (29) by coupling members including a bolt and a nut, the elongated holes (29) allow adjustment of coupling locations of the coupling members so that the gap (z) between the elevator door (D) and the door frame (10) can be adjusted.
