Abstract:
The elevator suspension body comprises a load supporting layer (31) having a larger width than thickness in a cross section orthogonal to the length direction and a covering layer (32) covering at least part of the outer periphery of the load supporting layer (31). The load supporting layer (31) has a plurality of fibers (311) oriented in the length direction and cured impregnation resin (312) filling the space in between the plurality of fibers (311). The impregnation resin (312) is an epoxy resin containing a bisphenol A type epoxy resin and a polyoxy-based epoxy resin containing a polyoxyalkylene bond represented by general formula (1) in the resin backbone.
