Abstract:
The elevator system and elevator evacuation guidance control procedure employ a controller that controls operation of two or more cars each travelling in a hoistway, and are capable of variably setting an evacuation route using a vertical evacuation escape chute from the top of one car to the top of another car in accordance with the circumstances, and specifying the most suitable evacuation guidance route using the evacuation escape chute by way of evacuation control processing by the controller.
