Abstract:
This elevator system is a one-shaft double-car elevator system and is provided with: a floor recognition abnormality detection means (4a) for detecting a floor recognition abnormality in which at least either one of a car position and floor information cannot be successfully recognized for one car (2a); a terminal floor travel means (6b) for causing the other car (2b) to travel to a terminal floor in a direction opposite the one car (2a) in accordance with notification of floor recognition abnormality information detected by the floor recognition abnormality detection means (4a); and a floor recognition abnormality corrective operation means (8a) for performing a floor recognition abnormality corrective operation for correcting the floor recognition abnormality of the one car (2a) on the basis of terminal floor travel information from the terminal floor travel means (6b). The present invention is capable of performing abnormality recovery operation safely without any collision between the cars.
