Abstract:
In conventional elevator systems, there is a problem that it is necessary to install a dedicated object to be detected at each landing and then adjust the landing position of a car. In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, provided is an elevator system that recognizes the absolute position of the car by detecting, with a detection means attached to the car, a medium on which absolute position information has been recorded, the medium being installed over the entire area where the car moves vertically. When the door is open, the distance to the floor of the landing is measured, and the distance difference, which is the difference between the measured distance and the reference distance, is used to correct the value of the absolute position of the floor of the landing.
