Abstract:
An elevator comprising a deflector wheel for guiding a main rope from a drive sheave to a cage pulley disposed at an upper part in the elevator shaft. A driver is disposed to be superposed on the cage on the vertical projection surface and the deflector wheel is disposed in a plane intersecting the rotational axis of the drive sheave perpendicularly and including the drive sheave such that the rotational axis thereof extends in parallel with the rotational axis of the drive sheave.
