Abstract:
With respect to an elevator that supplies power to a car when the elevator is stopped, the present invention addresses the problem of reducing wiring installed in an elevator shaft. In the present invention, a power transmission unit 11 controls power supply to a power storage device of a car 52 on the basis of signals from a landing indication device 731, which is located in a landing of a floor to which power is to be supplied and which indicates that a car is arriving, and from a landing indication control unit 711 that controls the landing indication device 731. A charging state of the power storage device in which power is stored by the power supply is monitored, and if the charging state exceeds a predetermined amount of stored power, power storage to the power storage device is stopped.
