Abstract:
This elevator, which stores elevator monitoring data, efficiently prevents the loss of monitoring data by utilizing the results of elevator malfunction detection. This elevator is provided with an operation control unit which controls elevator operation, a storage unit which stores elevator monitoring data acquired sequentially by the operation control unit, an interface unit which is connected over a communication path to an external device, a malfunction detection unit which performs malfunction detection processing for detecting elevator malfunction, and a data control unit which, if the occurrence of a malfunction that necessitates replacement of the storage unit is detected in the malfunction detection processing, performs monitoring data saving processing for saving to the external device the monitoring data stored in the storage unit.
