Abstract:
Provided is an eluent for ion-exchange chromatography which is capable of separating and detecting target nucleic acids such as PCR amplified products of nucleic acids, restriction fragments of the PCR amplified products, and restriction fragments of nucleic acids, in a short period and with high separation performance. Also provided is a method for analyzing nucleic acid chains by ion-exchange chromatography using the eluent. The eluent for ion-exchange chromatography contains a guanidine salt derived from the guanidine represented by formula (1).
