AMENDED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on 26 January 2015 (26.01.2015) What is claimed is: 1. An emanation system (100), comprising: a substrate (102); a secondary substrate (140); and an air treatment material (106) disposed within a container (180) for spraying onto the substrate (102), wherein the secondary substrate (140) absorbs runoff from the air treatment material (106) applied to the substrate (102), and wherein when applied, the air treatment material (106) emanates from the substrate (102) at a first release rate and from the secondary substrate (140) at a second release rate, 2. The emanation system (100) of claim 1, wherein the substrate (1.02) comprises a substantially rectangular body (120) and the secondary substrate (140) is disposed adjacent a lower edge (128) of the body (120). 3. The emanation system (100) of claims 1 or 2, wherein the secondary substrate (140) is in. communication with the substrate (102) such that a rear surface (146) of the secondary substrate (140) is substantially flush with a front surface (122) of the substrate (102). 4. The emanation system (100) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the substrate (102) comprises a polymer and the secondary substrate (140) comprises a cellulosic material. 5. The emanation system (100) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the substrate (102) and the secondary substrate (140) define a substantially smooth surface. 6. The emanation system (100) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the substrate (102) comprises a visual guide (132). 7. An air treatment material (106), comprising: a fragrance having a first efficacy time period; and an active ingredient having a second efficacy time period, wherein the air treatment material (106) is provided as a micro emulsion, and wherein the first and the second efficacy time periods are substantially the same, 8. The air treatment material (106) of claim 7, wherein the air treatment material (106) is applied to a polymer substrate (102) and the active ingredient is released therefrom at a rate of at least about 0.2 mg/hr. 9. The air treatment material (106) of claims 7 or 8, wherein the fragrance acts as a use-up indicator to provide an olfactory cue that the second efficacy time period has ended. 10. The air treatment material (106) of claims 7, 8 or 9, wherein the active ingredient is a pyrethroid. 11. The air treatment material (106) according to any of claims 7 to 10 further comprising a surfactant blend. 12. The air treatment material (106) according to any of claims 7 to 1 1 , wherein the air treatment material (106) comprises about 4% fragrance and about 0.4% active ingredient. 13. The air treatment material (106) according to claim 1 1 , wherein the air treatment material (106) comprises about 90% of deionized water, about 3 to about 6% of the surfactant blend, about 2 to about 6% of the fragrance, and about 0.2 to about 1 % of the active ingredient. 14. A method of operating an emanation system (100), comprising the steps of: providing a dispensing device (104) containing an air treatment material (106) and a substrate (102); aligning a nozzle (188) of the dispensing device (104) with the substrate (1 02); and actuating the dispensing device (104) to spray an amount of the air treatment material (106) onto at least a portion of the substrate (102), wherein the substrate (102) includes polyethylene terephthalate. 15. The method of claim 14, wherein a secondary substrate (140) is designed to catch an amount of run off from the amount of air treatment material (106) sprayed onto the substrate (102). 16. The method of claim 14 or 15, wherein the air treatment material (106) emanates from the substrate (102) at a first release rate, and emanates from the secondary substrate (140) at a second release rate. 17. The method according to any of claims 14 to 16 further including the step of filling the dispensing device (104). 18. The method according to any of claims 14 to 17, wherein the nozzle (1 88) is aligned with a visual guide (132) on the substrate (102). 19. The method according to any of claims 14 to 18, wherein the amount of air treatment material (106) sprayed is about 3 grains, 20. The method according to any of claims 14 to 19, wherein the amount of the air treatment material (106) sprayed onto the substrate (102) provides mosquito repellency and a pleasant fragrance to the room for a time period of about three days. |
