Abstract:
A signal processing circuit (350, 410) including a first circuit (430) coupled between a power terminal (VDD) and a first ground terminal (VM) and a second circuit (440) coupled between the power terminal (VDD) and a second ground terminal (VSS) is provided. The signal processing circuit (350, 410) is configured to receive a first signal (312,411) at a voltage level relative to the first ground terminal (VM) and, in response to the first signal (312, 411), provide a second signal (446) at a voltage level relative to the second ground terminal (VSS). The signal processing circuit (350, 410) can be used in a battery protection circuit (320, 400) for a mobile device (300) having an embedded battery (330). The battery protection circuit (320, 400) is configured with two NMOS transistors to allow the cell phone circuit (310) to switch between the embedded battery (330) and an external power source (V1).
