Abstract:

Disclosed are an embossing device, an embossing method, and an embossed can wherein embossment having a non-shaped section and an optional number of embossed areas is possible and wherein a quality and productivity can be improved. The embossed can (10) is a double embossed-surface can and has on the can barrel (101): a first pattern (104) printed; a first recessed section (105) formed while being so positioned as to almost conform to the first pattern (104); a second pattern (106) printed at a position distant in the circumferential direction with the non-shaped section therebetween; and a second recessed section (107) formed while being so positioned as to almost conform to the second pattern (106).
