Abstract:
An embroidery frame (21) detachably installable on the frame drive part of an embroidering machine, comprising a roughly cylindrical receiving frame part (22). Projected teeth (24) for preventing a set fabric to be embroidered from slipping are formed on the circumferential surface of the receiving frame part on the free end side discontinuously at prescribed intervals. A headwear (10) is so disposed that the sewn parts (13) of the headwear correspond to the projected teeth (24) absent portions (24') of the embroidery frame so that raised portions at the sewn parts when the headwear is set on the embroidery frame can be eliminated or reduced. The lower end (27a) of a fabric retainer (26) installed near a needle at the tip of a needle bar is formed in a roughly linear shape to reduce the contact area of the lower end on the fabric to be embroidered so as to increase a pressing force per unit area.
