Abstract:
An embroidery machine, wherein at least one sewing machine head in a head group formed of two or more sewing machine heads (3, 4) disposed in proximity to each other so that embroidering can be performed for the embroidery area of one embroidery frame in which a cylindrical embroidered material is set is the multi-needle sewing machine head (3). The multi-needle sewing machine head comprises a color change mechanism (20) selectively positioning any needle at a specified operating position and a shuttle bed (5) commonly used to the sewing machine heads in one head group. The embroidery machine also comprises a traverse mechanism (30) positioning either of the sewing machine heads in one head group correspondingly to the shuttle bed by disposing the sewing machine heads and the color change mechanism on the shuttle head movably in the lateral direction and integrally moving them in the lateral direction.
