Title:
EMERGENCY BYPASS CHANGEOVER CIRCUIT OF UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/073787
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an uninterruptible power supply in which a control unit (113) supplies AC power to a load when an external power supply is in an abnormal state. The uninterruptible power supply outputs a pulse signal to a gate of a bidirectional SCR switch to enable the external power supply to supply power to the load when the external power supply is in a normal state and the controller abnormally operates and the BPS signal of the controller is in an abnormal state. An emergency bypass changeover circuit of the uninterruptible power supply includes: a pulse trans (T7) added winding coil unit (312) formed by adding a winding N1 used as a power supply for a control unit on the secondary side of a switching mode power supply (SMPS) pulse trans (T7) for supplying power to the control unit (113) to allow a pulse voltage having the same frequency as a pulse of a primary side on windings N2 and N3 of the secondary side to be induced; an abnormal signal detector (411) including a BPS terminal receiving an abnormal signal from the control unit and a monostable multi vibrator U1A shaping a signal input from the BPS terminal; and a BPS signal transmitter (412) receiving a signal from the abnormal signal detector (411), controlling the path of a driving pulse generated from the secondary-side windings N1 and N2 of the SMPS pulse transistor (T7), and enabling a signal to be output to the gate of the bidirectional SCR switch (200), wherein when the control unit of the uninterruptible power supply is out of order, the emergency bypass changeover circuit of the uninterruptible power supply generates a "HIGH" output through the abnormal signal detector (411) including the monostable multiple vibrator (U1A), activates the BPS signal transmitter (412), and enables the pulse voltage induced to the secondary-side windings N2 and N3 of the SMPS to supply a driving pulse to the gate of the bidirectional SCR switch (200) through the BPS signal transmitter (412).
