Abstract:
A system for stably transmitting an emergency disaster flash simultaneously
to hundres of thousands to millions of households. The system comprises a distribution
server (20) for distributing an emergency disaster flash containing data on
the Japanese seismic intensity, the earthquake occurrence time, the epicenter
transmitted from the Japanese Meteorological Agency (10) to disaster flash
transmitter installed in CATV broadcast facilities, a disaster flash transmitter
(30) which creates guidance broadcast data by computing the data on the emergency
disaster flash distributed from the distribution server and subscriber position
information to create guidance broadcast data, FM-modulates the guidance broadcast
data, and transmits the receivers in the subscribers' houses through CATV
network cables, and in-house receivers (50) each of which is connected to a CATV
network cable, receives the guidance broadest data through the disaster flash
transmitter, and outputs the data to a warning device.
