Abstract:
Disclosed is an emergency disconnect circuit for an energy storage system, capable of being smoothly operated during power outages and in recovery situations, respectively. For example, disclosed is an emergency disconnect circuit connected to wiring positioned between a power grid and an energy storage system, the emergency disconnect circuit comprising: an emergency disconnect switch, positioned in a first division line divided from the wiring, capable of being opened by an operator; a first relay coil connected in series with the emergency disconnect switch; a second relay coil connected in parallel to the emergency disconnect switch and the first relay coil; a first contact, positioned in a second division line divided from the wiring, cooperating with the first relay coil; a second contact, connected in series with the first contact, cooperating with the second relay coil; and a breaker, electrically connected to the second division line, being operated when no current flows through the second division line.
