Abstract:
The present invention relates to an emergency escape apparatus for a ship. The apparatus is provided with a ladder member which is configured such that one end is connected to an entrance door of a cabin and the other end is placed at a position opposite to the entrance door, and such that the ladder member is concealed in the floor surface of the cabin and is exposed when required so that a passenger can grip the ladder member with his/her hands and put his/her feet thereon. The ladder member has a plurality of recessed grooves formed to be sunken into the floor surface of the cabin. Such configuration produces the effects of allowing passengers to easily move to the entrance door by means of the ladder member even in a state where the floor surface is inclined while the ship is listing, and after escaping from the cabin, allowing the passengers to easily escape from an inclined passage to the outside by means of a handle member.
