Abstract:
An emergency position indication radio beacon apparatus, comprising a position indicating beacon (1), a release box (2), a first clamping plate (3), a first compression spring (4), a second clamping plate (5), a second compression spring (6), a first fixing base (7), a second fixing base (8), a steel wire rope (9), a hydrostatic pressure relief device (10) and so on. By means of the release box (2) being internally provided with a first clamping mechanism and a second clamping mechanism, the apparatus may usually effectively clamp the position indicating beacon (1) to prevent same from shaking within the release box (2) and damaging parts. Once the release box (2) sinks into water, a bottom base (201) and an upper cover (202) of the release box (2) disengage, and the first clamping mechanism and the second clamping mechanism move away to two sides under the action of the compression springs (4, 5), thereby achieving the effective separation of the position indicating beacon (1) and the bottom base (201).
