Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide an emergency release mechanism for fluid loading devices that has excellent heat insulating properties and that allows for loading of a cryogenic fluid such as liquid hydrogen. This emergency release mechanism for fluid loading devices comprises a pair of couplers 1, wherein: each of the pair of couplers 1 has a coupler main unit 5 comprising an inner cylinder 2 which is open on the distal end side and through which a fluid flows, an outer cylinder 3 which is open on the distal end side and which forms a vacuum layer 9 between itself and the inner cylinder 2, and a connecting flange 4 that closes the space between the inner cylinder 2 and the outer cylinder 3; and the thickness of the connecting flange 4 is set to be less than the thickness of the outer cylinder 3.
