Abstract:
The emission allowance is disclosed for each commodity and can be traded also for each commodity. A management server (9) for requesting settlement servers (5a, 5b) for settling emission allowances to settle an emission allowance associates information relating to the weights of emission allowances with information relating to identification of a non-contact IC medium (6) and manages the information. The management server (9) stores the information relating to the weight of the emission allowance which the seller has, the information relating to seller’s account, the information relating to the weight of the emission allowance which the buyer has, and the information relating to buyer’s account in DBs provided in the settlement servers (5a, 5b). When the non-contact IC medium (6) removed from a commodity (10) bought from the seller is sent from the buyer, the settlement servers (5a, 5b) make withdrawal from the seller’s account and transfer to the buyer’s account with regard to the emission allowance traded between the seller and the buyer in response to the sent request for the settlement according to the information stored in the DBs.
