Abstract:
Tax has become increasingly imposed one or more of harmful substances such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and hydrogen carbides exhausted from a vehicle according to their amounts so as to heighten driver’s consciousness of emission and to promote environmental protection. An emission amount report device includes a sensor (40), a CPU (22), a ROM (26), a display (42), and a communication unit (30). The sensor (40) detects the amount of each harmful substance. From the ROM (26) storing information on tax according to emission amount, the CPU (22) obtains the tax information. The display (42) displays the obtained tax value corresponding to the detected emission amount. The CPU (22) carries out a tax payment procedure through the communication unit (30) by sending the information on the emission amount to a server (34) of the government office.
