Abstract:
This emotion estimation method comprises a first, second, and third step. The first step is a step for acquiring a plurality of myogenic potential signals (MS1, MS2) that respectively correspond to different types of muscles out of the muscles in the face of a subject. The second step is a step for calculating a plurality of emotion indices (E1, E2) on the basis of the plurality of the myogenic potential signals (MS1, MS2). The third step is a step for using information that indicates the relationship between the plurality of emotion indices (E1, E2) and human emotions to estimate the emotion of the subject from the plurality of emotion indices (E1, E2).
