Abstract:
A robot and a method for predicting an emotion state by the robot. The method comprises: determining a first emotional state of a first user, the first emotion state being an emotion state of the first user on a first time point; predicting a second emotion state according to the first emotion state and a first emotion prediction model, the second emotion state being an emotion state of the first user on a second time point, and the second time point following the first time point; and outputting a response to the first user according to the second emotion state. In the method for predicting an emotion state by the robot, the emotion state of the first user on a next time point can be predicted by means of the first emotion state of the first user and the first emotion prediction model, and a timely warning or a communication skill proposal is provided to two parties in a conversation, thereby further improving the conversation effect and improving user experience.
