Abstract:
An emulsion composition containing water, an oil or fat, a polyhydric alcohol, an emulsifying agent (A) and an emulsifying agent (B), wherein the amount of a saturated fatty acid relative to the total amount of all of constituent fatty acids in the oil or fat is 30% or more, the amount of the oil or fat in the composition is 60 to 90% by weight, the weight average molecular weight of the polyhydric alcohol is less than 1500, and each of the emulsifying agent (A) and the emulsifying agent (B) is a hydrophilic emulsifying agent. A beverage containing the emulsion composition.
