Abstract:
The present application provides: an emulsion production member for dividing a sample into fine droplets and dispersing the fine droplets in a dispersion medium to produce an emulsion; and a sample collection tube and a blood collection tube, each of which is equipped with the emulsion production member. The emulsion production member is provided with: a plug body for keeping the inside of a vessel main body in a pressure-reduced state; a sample injection hole through which a sample is to be injected into the plug body; a sample storage unit which is arranged in the plug body and in which the sample is to be stored; a dispersion medium injection hole through which the dispersion medium is to be injected into the plug body; and a dispersion medium storage unit which is arranged in the plug body and in which the dispersion medium is to be stored. The emulsion production member is further provided with: a discharge port through which the sample and the dispersion medium are to be discharged to the vessel main body side; a sample flow passage for connecting the sample storage unit and the discharge port to each other; and a dispersion medium flow passage for connecting the dispersion medium storage unit and the sample flow passage to each other to cause the dispersion medium to flow in order to divide the sample circulating in the sample flow path into fine droplets by means of the dispersion medium.
